pSX is a fairly well known emulator that nearly matches the Playstation itself. What makes the pSX Playstation Emulator so great is that there is a degree of compatibility and uses software rendered graphics. It depends on the system you have, but it can play fairly good on lower end systems. The graphics are not as great, but the pSX Emulator is playable on nearly any older PC.
